We've been working hard during fall ball.

I'd hate to see all the hard work diminish with the holidays just before winter conditioning.

As a speed coach who works with lots of athletes and teams, I understand what happens when we take an extended period of time off.

Our reaction times suffer, we lose our rhythm, and it takes longer to get back to peak performance when winter conditioning starts.

Since working with Blasters baseball team at the end of summer, I've created this two-month training program exclusive for Blasters to keep y'all in peak performance through winter.

Stay ready. Stay fast. Stay ahead.

Be at your best for Spring season

This 8-week program will focus on strength and conditioning, base-stealing skills, first step quickness, and decreased reaction times.

  1. Strength and conditioning: Build the foundation of being an athlete, amplifying your current playing skills to improve your game on the field, where it counts most.
  2. Reduce risk of Injury: Reduce the risk of injuries commonly associated with high-intensity sports through targeted exercises and strategies for enhanced conditioning.
  3. Base-stealing skills: Get the speed needed at the start to beat the pitcher and get your team closer to their next run.
  4. Decreased reaction times: Gain an explosive edge on defense, enabling you to position yourself correctly, snag the ball, and get the quick out for your team.

Gain the agility, speed, and explosiveness needed to rise above the competition and excel on the field this coming season.

"Coach James and his program did wonders for my son. He saw steady progression and improvement in his speed and agility. Coach James has a great rapport with his athletes and gets the most out of them. I highly recommend Coach James for any athlete at any level."

Assistant Coach for Blasters 12U

Keep the momentum going

I've thoroughly enjoyed working with the Blasters and want to continue the momentum we started. I'm excited to work with you and help prepare you for your best season yet.

Over the years, I've worked with many athletes, helping them tune their reactions and performance so they can perform best when it matters most.

This 8-week program will help you get the edge you need to stay strong and ready through the holidays.

Let's keep you at your best for this coming season!

FAQ's

Who is eligible for this program?

This training program is exclusive to the Tallwood High School baseball team. This training will build on the work we did together during fall ball.

Is this program suitable for high school athletes of all skill levels?

Absolutely! Whether you're aiming to make the varsity team or simply improve your skills, this program is designed for athletes of all levels.

How many athletes can participate in the program?

To ensure individual attention and appropriate room for each athlete to train, we will be limiting this program to the first 25 athletes.

Who will be coaching the program?

Coach James will work directly with all participants.

When does the 8-week program take place?

The program will meet every Monday and Wednesday from 3:00pm to 4:30pm. During November and December. Select dates around the holidays will be off. Coach James will provide a full calendar with those dates.

What should I bring to the training sessions?

We recommend wearing appropriate sports attire (breathable clothes, proper footwear—close-toed sneakers, etc), and bringing a water bottle. Don't wear cleats to these sessions as we'll be on a concrete gym floor. Also, you will not need to bring your baseball-specific gear. Dress like you're going to the gym.
